So you want to read Chinese web novels… but where do you even start?
Don’t worry—I’ve done the awkward, baffling, and occasionally mind-blowing reading for you.
Inside, you’ll find curated, candid (and yes, occasionally savage) reviews of the gems and grenades in China’s massive web fiction universe. Whether you’re here for futuristic mecha battles, post-apocalyptic survival, or xianxia cultivation with a twist—I’ll tell you what’s worth it and where to find it.
Perfect for the curious, the time-poor, and anyone who’s ever thought: ‘Do I really need to read 500 chapters to find out if this is good?’
Spoiler: You don’t. I already did.
